"Went over the top to help me"

About: Grantham & District Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

I was in the hospital for kidney stone removal and the hospital is 60 miles away from where I live.  Everything was fine except they discharged me earlier than expected and I had no way of getting home.  I was shattered, upset, on my last legs and stuck.  A young student nurse went over the top to help me, lovely girl she was, she managed to get me hospital transport home and I am very grateful to her.

Thank you for taking the time to send in your comments and I will share with the team and our students as we have 2 at the minute, so will ensure both see it. I am pleased we managed to get you home on the day of surgery and I hope you are recovering well
