"The nurse that took my bloods was first class"

About: General Practices in Grampian

(as a service user),

The nurse that took my bloods was first class; she was very friendly and I didn’t feel a thing. She also explained everything to me and what they were checking my bloods for. What a credit to Oldmachar Medical Practice, I think her name was Sharon.

Thanks for sharing your experience of having bloods taken by Sharon at Oldmachar Medical Practice giraffezw58. A friendly face and good explanations really do make a huge difference to how an appointment goes. The team there will be delighted to recieve this and I'm sure the special mention for Sharon will be very welcome.

I work with the Quality Improvement & Assurance Team in NHS Grampian and part of my role is to make sure the feedback that comes in for the general practices, through Care Opinion, reaches them. Most in Grampian are independently run and have their own complaints and feedback systems - they aren’t registered to receive Care Opinion feedback and it’s best to contact the practice directly. However, as I have the practice name I'd be happy to forward to them on your behalf. If they get back to me with a response I will share with you on this thread.

Take care,

Kirsten
