In November I went to my doctors complaining of chest pains and shortage of breath, I was lucky enough to see Dr Bret a new doctor on secondment to my GP and now is working at A&E at ESH,
I had been miss diagnosed as having asthma for the last three years, the two heart operations have cleared it up nicely
He refered me to A&E where I was very well looked after, despite the constant pressure staff were under through genuine patients, drunks and others with serious mental issues, I was impressed that everyone including all of the time wasters were given extreme courtesy by doctors and nurses despite the rudeness and abuse thrown at them, Clearly I would not have the tolerance level to put up with the nonsense for five minutes!
I was admitted and after tests has two stents the day after and a further couple the following week during which time the lovely nurses and doctors could not have been more caring.
I would like to than Dr Allen and all of his team, the nurses and cleaners in fact everyone who makes that unit run so well, you all saved my life for which I shall be eternally grateful even if some of my employees are not!
I would also wish to thank everyone for putting up with me for the ten days and wish all at ESH good health and happiness throughout the New Year
Many many thanks
