Anything else?
Having been referred by my GP for an appointment at the ENT department, I received a letter from the Choose and Book service asking me to contact them to make an appointment. I contacted them by telephone and was told that ENT make the appointments directly, not through Choose and Book! . I then received a pre-printed letter from Choose and Book asking me not to contact their department again. This is now some two weeks ago and still nothing from ENT. I rang this morning to see if I could check progress for making an appointment and was told I wasn't on the system in the Outpatients department and would need to speak to another department. I rang that number to be told that II had been given the wrong number and that I should have rung Outpatients. Back to square one.... Can't fill in section 4 as cannot seem to even get an appointment. I have been trying to ring the Outpatient numbers I have been given 01865 231100/ 01865 231188. There is no one available! How on earth does anyone get an appointment in this department. I do wonder what happens to people who need help urgently, but can't work out the appointments system. Please can someone contact me so that I can get to see a specialist. Thank you.
