I was admitted to Ward 220 Royal Stoke Hospital after collapsing at home and initially being in resus and majors due to heart problems.
I was quickly diagnosed and fitted with a pacemaker within two days and the care I received was excellent from the consultant down to the nursing staff and even the domestic staff.
The staff went out of their way to explain everything and were both professional and friendly, giving reassurance at all times.
I must also give praise to the wonderful ambulance personnel for their care and attention. Words cannot express my thanks enough.
