"The staff I encountered were absolutely exemplary"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Day Surgery Unit Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Trauma and Orthopaedics

(as a service user),

I was admitted to the Day Surgery Unit in the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh for an Arthroscopy for a meniscal tear.

From the start of admission through to the end all of the staff I encountered were absolutely exemplary - friendly, reassuring, and truly a testament to the profession.

I was really worried going into surgery - they expertly reassured me and provided care beyond what I could have expected.

I would like to offer my most heart-felt gratitude and admiration to the surgical team that performed the operation (I am unsure of names but Mr Robinson? ST8, Mr White), The Anaesthetics team (Drs Fabian and Coats), to all the recovery staff and the team at the Ward.

Thank you! 🤍
