About: Woodend Hospital / Pre-operative Assessment Clinic

(as a service user),

I had my pre-op at Woodend Hospital. The receptionist had a smile on her face and was very friendly. The HCW was friendly and professional putting me at ease with the tests.

The nurse I seen was fantastic, chatty, again making me feel at ease.

Next was the OT, down to earth with a sense of humour.

Consultant next, he is very good explains everything clearly, take his times, didn't rush the consultation.

X-ray, the radiologist again was very friendly and patient, getting on and off the bed was sore due to my condition.

A very positive experience, nothing was rushed I felt like they saw me as a person not just the next case.

Thank you all.

Dear Luckywiccan,

thank you for your kind words for the whole team at pre operative assessment. The staff will be delighted to hear they made a difference to your appointment. It is nice to hear you were put at ease and everything was explained well.

I will pass this on to the staff involved.

Kind Regards

Alison Mckenzie
