Severe stomach pains meant I called 111. I was concerned it was appendicitis and this proved to be correct.
Blue light ambulance sent which arrived within 10 minutes. Outstanding care from the ambulance crew and I was taken to A&E. My care continued to be fantastic in A&E with blood tests and scans completed to confirm diagnosis.
Transferred to SEAU for operation following morning. Then transferred to SAL for recovery.
My care from calling 111 to discharge has been outstanding. All the staff were happy, helpful, professional and very friendly. Thank you LCH and EMAS. Back home now to recover.
