"I don't feel listened to, taken seriously or understood"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Gynaecology (Ward 49)

(as a service user),

Have so far lost 2 years of my life to pain and uncomfortable treatments with endometriosis. Phoned up today as I was hospitalised last week with a worsening of my condition and have been told it is another 2 year wait after already waiting a year.

I’m in agony and has totally taken over my life no one seems to be able to help me move on with my life.

I work for the NHS and face losing my job because the NHS can’t seem to help me any time in the near future.

I now have potential endo growing down my leg and life has been completely put on hold and according to waitlist admin team I have another 2 years of this minimum to go.

I don’t feel listened to, taken seriously or understood, I just want to get back to work and on with my life and despite my best efforts I am getting absolutely nowhere and depleted my savings just trying to stay afloat.
