After suffering a sore back and receiving blood tests my Mum was referred by her gp very quickly to haematology where she was seen by the consultant Dr Raed and admitted to ward 34. Straight away we were made to feel welcome, cared for and at ease. We cannot speak more highly of the staff caring for her in the ward. This was an extremely anxious worrying time for my mum and our family and the care, support and information we received continuously meant so much to us and has helped greatly.
I would like to mention Dr Becky , TJ, Jade, Shaun, Paulina, Jen, Lucy, Glenda, Karen from the day unit and the rest of the team who i've never managed to get the names. A big thank you to Lil the auxiliary who made us feel really relaxed and smile when we really needed to most.
