"Your care and kindness will not be forgotten"

About: District Nursing / Omagh

(as a service user),

After discharge from hospital I had a small issue with my section wound and my husband and I came down with strep throat. I couldn’t get in contact with my GP but contacted the district nursing team. They collected samples, sent them off, spoke to the GP, organised anti biotics and sourced the appropriate dressings for my wound.

With the GPs under such pressure, the district nursing team are going above and beyond to make up for the gaps in the healthcare system. They go beyond their job role to ensure that each patient (and their families) are taken care of. Their attention to detail and their dedication to their patients is second to none- particularly in Omagh.

Thank you especially to Lisa and Keelin and the wider team. Your care and kindness will not be forgotten.
