"I was very impressed with the service I received,"

About: Downe Hospital / Outpatients

(as a service user),

I attended the Downe hospital outpatient centre for a pre op assessment prior to cataract surgery.

I was greeted by a very pleasant young man, checked in and offered a seat, I was then called after about less than 5 minute wait by a very friendly nurse Jobie.

I had all my checks and tests done by a lovely nurse Oonagh, who talked me through everything with plenty of time to ask questions. When my appointment was complete, the whole thing taking about 50 minutes, I left with all the information I needed and with details of my next appointment.

Overall I was very impressed with the service I received, it was efficient and very helpful. The staff made me less anxious and I left feeling well cared for.
