This surgery is dangerous and they do not care for, or about the people that are registered with them.
The administration team are shockingly under trained and incompetent. They do not even know the basics of their job, and they do not have an ounce of compassion for the people that are calling them when in need.
My mother had a heart attack last week, and was asked to drop in her discharge summary from the hospital as they did not have record of it or the medications she was supposed to continue taking, and her planned follow up care. You as her GP surgery should be chasing this up - not asking a very ill woman to drop this to you.
When this was dropped to you the receptionist "wasn't sure" if she would be able to pass this to the administration team. I don't know if this is laziness, or pure incompetence but it is disgraceful. You then asked whether we could come back later and see if there was someone we could give it to, which is entirely inappropriate and gives us absolutely no confidence that we will be able to give this in today, as we had been asked to.
Today is just one example of years of poor treatment, no communication and care from the people that are meant to be providing a service to us. There needs to be a drastic change in the service you provide. You are putting people in danger.
"The most awful, uncaring service I have ever…"
