I was initially welcomed by a lovely receptionist at the main entrance to Stracathro Hospital. Once seated another receptionist for the MPU come through to take me through to the MPU. She was courteous and made me feel at ease. Then I was called through to a bay where a really nice lady (I believe Kay?). She took my details again and gave me a gown. She was welcoming also and very friendly. Once called, Mr Nicol himself come through. Talked through my procedure, made me aware of everything that was happening and what would be the follow up post procedure. In the operating room the whole team again were great. It was a very well-run unit with a great team as the cogs. Once my procedure was complete, Mr Nicol talked me through what happened over an x-ray which I thought was great. Back to the bay, and I was welcomed by Lorraine who was great and couldn't help enough. I have to say, there isn't enough positive feedback I can give about my visit today and am delighted with the whole unit/procedure/service. Please feel free to reach out if anymore is required as most happy to help. Many thanks.
