"A soul destroying experience"

In my experience, Manchester Road Surgery in Crosspool redefines poor service and takes it to the next level.

I had an appointment to see the nurse about my asthma, an appointment I booked in early September. But the day before, I received a text saying it was cancelled and that I should contact the surgery to rearrange.

So I did - I phoned their appointments line. That gave an automated message saying I should use the online booking service.

So I did - I went on to book. But that said for appointments I should phone the appointment line.

OK, frustrating. Back to square one.

So I phoned the appointments line again. Eventually I got in the queue at number 2. Five minutes later I am still at number 2 in the queue. Ten minutes after that and it has stopped telling me where I am in the queue. Five minutes after that I gave up.

A soul destroying experience, and not unusual either. I think the Manchester Road Surgery in Crosspool is failing the community badly.
