(as a carer),

My husband had a stroke 2 years ago and has had excellent speech therapy care since then at NHS Dumfries. The physio by the Stroke Association and NHS Dumfries - he really enjoys this.

There is also a stroke club at the baptist church which is very good and was also suggested by NHS Dumfries.

His initial admittance to Dumfries hospital was also very well done and we stayed with my husband overnight to ease the burden of care for the staff.

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive feedback with us regarding the excellent speech therapy care your husband has received from NHS Dumfries & Galloway. I was pleased to read that your husband has received such good support and that he enjoys the physio both from NHS Dumfries and Galloway and also the Stroke Association.

I was also pleased to read that you were provided with information on the Stroke club at the baptist church and that you and your husband have found this a positive experience.
