(as a parent/guardian),

We attended A&E with pains in my daughter's right side. She was admitted to paediatrics with suspected appendicitis for observation where she would stay for three nights.

Donna, Anna, Claire, Lois and a few other nurses whose names I cannot remember 🙈 showed so much attention, care and support to her. Mr Patterson (surgeon) made her feel very comfortable and made her laugh with his tickly hands.

The theatre nurses were so good and Jackie from catering treated her like a princess. Everyone involved from start to finish showed my daughter so much care.

I am delighted to read your compliments for the staff in Causeway Hospital from ED, to the ward team and the surgical team. I will ensure that your kind words are passed on personally to all the staff you named as well as the team in general. It really does make a difference to staff to know that their care is appreciated and that it helped your daughter through a difficult time, I hope that she is now much recovered.
