"A lovely thing to witness"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Orthopaedic Ward B23

(as a service user),

As being a patient just now in Larbert hospital i witnessed a very emotional scene, you wont believe it. It was through the night and an old lady was brought in very unwell, she was shouting and screaming for someone to help her. Well, the door opened and in came this young man, Dario. He took the old woman's hand, stroked her head and tried to comfort her. Although this was an impossible task he still tried. Eventually he had to move her, still holding her hand. Although no-one knew i was awake it was a lovely thing to witness, this man is in the correct job, no doubt.

There was also a young student nurse on the ward  called Chelsi who worked herself stupid in a very understaffed ward with nothing but pride and a smile. If these nurses are a sign of our future it is great.
