"Outstanding care and compassion"

About: Trauma & orthopaedics / Orthopaedic National Treatment Centre

(as a service user),

I would like to thank Mr Chesney and all the team involved with my recent surgery and care at the national orthopaedic centre.

All involved were a credit to NHS Fife, listening and answering questions, relaying fears and showing outstanding care and compassion. From initial consultation, assessment to surgery the process was swift and kept very much up to date with waiting times- many thanks to Emma, Mr Chesney's secretary, for her part in the process.

I would like to say a special thank you to Joanne, OPD assistant who was so caring and supportive before the procedure- she really helped put me at ease and distract me from what was going on around me.

The care provided by all staff on the ward post op was attentive and they could not do enough to ensure you were comfortable.

Thank you all for your care, very much appreciated.
