"Excellent quality of service"

I had a laparoscopic cholecystectomy in the day surgery unit at Heatherwood on the 16th September 2024. From start to finish, the treatment I received was professional, efficient and empathetic, particularly from the two staff members who looked after me on the DSU ward.

The anaesthetist and consultant surgeon took great care to explain the procedure to me and the consultant even called me three days later to check on my recovery.

I have no hesitation in recommending the staff and services at Heatherwood Hospital and am extremely grateful for the quality of care that I received.
