Anything else?
I have recently been discharged after a 2 week stay on ward 5A. This was my first ever stay in hospital but the staff on this ward are absolutely superb. Their caring nature and professionalism even under pressure made everyone's lives so much easier. No matter how busy they were the got things done. Even though the consultants didn't always keep me informed all I had to do as ask one of the nurses who always had the information I needed. (Thanks) I must give special thanks to the Sister and two nurses who got me through the worst 48 hours of my life and I could not have done it without them. The ward was always kept clean as clean as possible and the cleaning staff were really friendly. The catering staff were great and were always there with cups of tea when required. When I went down for my surgery the staff there could see I was nervous but gave me lots of confidence that everything would be ok. I hope I never have to stay in again but if I did I would have no problem being admitted to this hospital. The ward staff are a credit to you and I cant thank them enough.
"Wonderful staff of ward 5A who really care"
