"A real credit to the nursing profession"

About: Acute Medical Unit / Ward 3 - Medical

(as a relative),

My Father was admitted to Perth Royal Infirmary with a suspected UTI and he was generally unwell with a high fever.

As his eldest son I visited him on several occasions in Ward 3. He was always full of praise for the Nursing staff who often under difficult circumstances were always dedicated, highly professional and exceptionally pleasant.

I would single out Joanna and Lauren for special praise as they displayed huge empathy and understanding as well as a great sense of humour and appropriate respect. They are just lovely people and a real credit to the Nursing profession.

Very well done ladies and it was a pleasure to meet you!

Dear Alexander55,

Thank you so much for taking the time to feedback to the team about the care your dad received. I have shared this with Joanna, Lauren and the team in Ward 3 and we appreciate when people take the time to give feedback on care opinion.

I hope your father is starting to feel better after his illness, and I am glad that we were able to provide the support your dad needed. It is very rewarding to for the team to see that the care provided had such positive impact for him.

Many Thanks

Rachel Hunt

Senior Nurse, PRI Medicine.
