Support received at The Murray Surgery from occupational therapist Connor.
I received support from the above professional to help cope with the symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome having been to see my GP as I was struggling from frequent ‘flare ups’.
This was a new service set up within my GP surgery. I found this to be very helpful and supportive. Connor supported me through discussions, strategies and set goals which enabled me to manage my day to day tasks and mindset to support my overall health and wellbeing. I am able to use the strategies and information given to me to support me day to day. I have found the sessions to be really beneficial I feel much better in myself and have been able to reduce ‘flare ups’.
Although I feel better in myself seeing the scores of how I felt before and after the block of sessions really helped me put things into perspective of how beneficial the sessions had been.
I will continue to use the strategies discussed and refer to the handouts given to support me in my daily life. Thank you to Connor for all the support and advice given, this had been a really positive experience for me and an invaluable source to support with my underlying health conditions.
