"The whole process was calm and smooth"

About: Accident & Emergency / Phone First Causeway Hospital / Minor Injuries Unit Causeway Hospital / X-Ray Department

(as the patient),

I had a fall and didn't want to go to A&E because of the wait. Due to increasing pain, I decided I should go to Causeway Hospital. I used the Phone First service, arranged to be there for 6pm and was directed to the Green Zone for minor injuries.

I was seen quickly by a wonderful Nurse Practitioner who was friendly and thorough and made me feel at ease. I was sent to X-Ray and then called back in for the results, the whole process was calm and smooth. The nurses explained my results and gave detailed information on how to care for the injury going forward. The whole process took around 45 minutes!

I'm very happy with my experience and I can't speak highly enough of all the staff.
