"Family nurse support with me and my child"

About: Public Health Nursing / Family Nurse Partnership

(as a parent/guardian),

My family nurse came out every couple of weeks to see how me and my son is getting on, checked up on us and always offered plenty of support to us. She was very supportive and helpful.

Am always very anxious about being in groups with other parents and their children but she always let me know what group are on, explain what they are and that it’s okay to feel the way I was feeling and that once I feel I can push myself that I’ll love it and so will my son.

She was amazing with the both of us and I can’t thank her enough for all her help and support she provided us.

Dear Meme05

My name is Elizabeth Whyte and I am a lead nurse in Public health nursing.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback on the support you have received from the family nurse who works in the family nurse partnership team.

It is so lovely to read that you found the regular visits from your family nurse helpful for you and your son and the information she shared on attending groups was informative and reassuring.

Your comments will be shared with the family nurse partnership team, they will be delighted to receive.

Best wishes to you and your son.

Elizabeth
