"What a great team"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Endoscopy

(as the patient),

After a positive rectal screening result, I was asked to attend the Endoscopy Unit in Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline for a colonoscopy. What a positive experience.

Everyone was so kind, considerate, patient, and they totally put me at ease. The procedure itself was painless, not in the least uncomfortable, and totally necessary. Everything was explained to me every step of the way.

Thank you all so much, Scott, Lynn, Ann, and to Tracey for the wee blether, also the others whose names I have forgotten, sorry (I'm getting old) the young student, good luck with your dream job, what a great team, and the toast was the best I've ever eaten 😁

Dear Weelinda

Thank you for taking time to feedback about your recent visit the the Regional Endoscopy Unit here at Queen Margaret. It was so nice to ready your very positive comments. On how well the staff kept you informed throughout your journey and that they showed you kindness and consideration which helped to put you at ease, on what is an invasive procedure.

A wee bit of professional banter goes an long way, and the toast rounds it off. I will pass on your very kind comments to the staff, and I agree the student nurse we have just now will be a great asset to any team she joins after qualifying. Wishing you a speedy recovery

Kindest regards

Ann Walker
