In April, on my 70th birthday the last thing I thought of was being diagnosed with Breast Cancer. With no family history I was in shock.
The staff at FVRH breast clinic, surgeon Mr Winkler, anaesthetic team, breast care nurses, pre-op nurse and aftercare staff soon eased the shock and my treatment was exemplary.
I could clearly see they all worked together as a team and I thank all of them for my care.
Yesterday (5 months later) I returned to FVRH. This time to outpatients (plastic surgery) to have a mole removed. Again my treatment was par excellence.
Kirsty who performed the procedure and Maureen who assist were professional but also openly caring. This procedure had worried me more than my lumpectomy but Kirsty put me at ease and again my treatment was exemplary.
Thank you to all the FVRH staff members for the service you all provide.
