"An amazing team"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Neonatal Unit

(as a service user),

Our son was born with respiratory distress at 35 weeks. Following this, he was in RVH NICU and then CAH neonatal.

On arrival to CAH neonatal we were met but Siobhan. Siobhan literally blew us away with her professionalism and kindness. Siobhan provided our son with the most amazing care. We were so pleasantly surprised at how quickly he improved with her by his side.

HCA Gita, treated our son with such care and attention, for the many night time feeds and changes. Thanks to you our son is now thriving.

Sister Jane also cared so lovingly for our son, providing us with much needed laughs on occasions. Jane supported me and encouraged me with breastfeeding.

Sister Sharon educated us and prepared us for discharge, explained everything so clearly and gave us the confidence to feel safe bringing our baby home.

An amazing team- that look after babies and families as if they were their own. An immaculately clean ward- please extend our thanks to domestic services.

Dear airzh65

Thank you for taking time to share such lovely feedback on the kindness and support, staff showed you throughout your stay, during both the day and the night.

I will share your kind comments with all our team and we wish you every good wish at home and hope your little son continues to thrive

There will be a smile on the face of our ward domestics who work so hard to keep our unit clean

Regards

Una
