"Listened to and empowered by maternity care"

About: Maternity care / Delivery Suite

(as a service user),

Had the pleasure of being cared for by the wonderful Rachel from Maternity Assessment following a labour that started a month earlier than expected. With Rachel I felt listened to and she ensured I was seen quickly by her medical colleagues.

I was quickly seen by Dr Katie and whisked to the delivery suite. Dr Katie was warm and encouraging and I knew right away that my baby and I would be in safe hands.

I was then met by my midwife Aoife, who guided me through and made me feel empowered. Aoife acted very quickly when my son become unwell and required the care of the NICU team. 

We are forever grateful to you all.
