"They represent the very best of humanity"

About: South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust / Abortion Services

(as a service user),

I have so much appreciation and admiration for the nurse from this service.

Coming to the decision to end my pregnancy isn’t something I ever thought I’d be faced with, and the nurse's kindness will never be forgotten.

From rescheduling my appointment to quite literally holding my hand through the procedure, the nurse remained an absolute angel and I can’t think of a better person to be in this job.

I am finally starting to feel like myself again, and I know that ending my pregnancy was the best choice for both me and my young family.

I would like anyone else in my position to know that you will not be judged by any of the nurses in this service - they represent the very best of humanity.

Dear Pdeeee,

Thank for taking the time to provide such positive feedback to the nurse you met within the Tulip Service.

I am sorry for the difficult time you have had but am heartened that you were met with a lack of judgement and received such compassionate and kind care.

I shall ensure that the nurse is made aware of your comments.

I wish you well for the future.

Take care,

Pauline
