"My treatment was exceptional"

I had been admitted twice for elective surgery, both times to ward 43. I can only describe my treatment was exceptional by the staff. All were very professional but really lovely, from Kay in support services Orla, nurse (who spoilt me rotten) to Ashley, Natalie, Michelle etc ( honestly too many to mention) they went over and above to ensure I was comfortable and had everything I need.

When they called in they were lovely and chatty ( just what you need to settle the nerves before surgery). Sister in the ward was lovely as well they were all so attentive. The staff are the jewel in Altnagelvin hospital’s and as such needs to know how good a job they are doing and retain all the staff.

If this is the standard of staff in your hospital this should be the kind of staff most definitely needed in other hospital departments! ( I can only comment on this ward and my own experiences) - superb!!!
