Yi, Alanna, Cara, Victoria, Megan, Lynsey, Danielle, Jill, Vincent and all the weekend nurses that come from other teams and the ones that I have forgotten, just so many to remember and name..
A massive thank you to all the nurses that have looked after me for the last year...
I can honestly say, this past year has been one of the roughest on me, mentally and medically.. (I am not one of them people who like to be looked after, I struggle with that).
I could not ask for better, nicer people to look after me, they are not a team of people, they are a family, they work as one big family and they made me feel like part of that family.. I am embarrassed every day they treat me but they make sure I am at ease as best they can get me.... They constantly keep an eye on my depression as well as my wound which means so much to me..
They are never in a rush, even if they have been held up before they get to me, they do not try and make up 10mins, they are there to do a job and they do that job very well.. I could literally write a book on these angels but I am not good at writing, so just a massive thank you to all the nurses, you are amazing and while I look forward to the day I do not need to be looked after anymore, I dread that same day as I will miss my family, even the crazy bag lady that told me on the first day that they were not going to be here for a month or two, they will be there for a long time, well, she was 100% correct...!
Lastly I wish Alanna all the best in her new adventure, you are one in a million (thankfully lol).
I have never loved, respected, adored but most of all trusted so many people in my life time..
I could never thank the nurses that has helped\treated me over the last 13 months enough...
