"Extraordinary level of care and diligence"

About: St John's Hospital / Emergency Medical Assessment

(as a service user),

I attended a GP consult with symptoms that indicated a possible blood clot on my lung. I was referred over to the emergency medical unit (OEPD2) at St John's Hosptial within 15 minutes of the GP appointment and over the next 2 hours had an x-ray, ECG and blood test done. I was called back at 2pm for CT Scan and and by 5pm had received my full results.

I just wanted to commend all the staff for their extraordinary level of care and diligence over the day and the speed with which they attended to me during what was clearly a very busy period. Amazing that all of that could be done for me in such a short amount of time and I have nothing but praise for all of those involved.
