"My daughter is never scared to go, she actually has a lot of fun!"

About: Glasgow Dental Hospital and School / Paediatric Dentistry - Level 5

(as a parent/guardian),

Have been bringing my daughter here for a while since she suffered trauma to her front teeth and one has now died.

She’s only little (preschool) and I cannot say enough how at ease the girls she sees makes her and I both feel at each visit. The nurses take her away to get stickers so I can speak with the Dr and they make it so stress free.

My daughter is never scared to go, she actually has a lot of fun when she goes and I hope that this very positive experience sets her up for being an adult and going to the dentist as I know some people have a fear of going to a dentist!

Dear Dizzy94,

I am so pleased to hear your little girl has so much fun when she visits our clinic. So many patients feel worried about having dental treatment, especially after trauma. Your little one seems well on her way to being a really happy patient.

I completely agree, our Dental Nurses are terrific at keeping our young patients occupied while parents and carers have a chat about the treatment plan. I am sure your kind feedback will be helpful to many others who have to attend the department of Paediatric Dentistry, thank you.
