About: Sexual Health Services - North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent (Open Clinic)

(as a service user),

Came there at 10, waited 2 hours, to be told to come back at 8.30 the next day

It feels like staff only want to work in the morning and be finished by the afternoon

Dear Jeffi,

Thank you for leaving feedback. I'm sorry to read that you had to wait this length of time and we were unable to meet your needs on the day. I completely understand that this must be so frustrating. The walk in runs in the morning Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and is generally extremely busy most days. We have appointments on these days throughout the afternoon into the evenings

Our aim is to triage patients as quickly as possible on the walk-in but this sometimes proves difficult for a number of reasons. We always try to communicate over our social media platforms and our website if the clinic is expected to be very busy on any given day in the aim to make patients aware before accessing the clinic.

Again I would like to apologise for the lengthy wait you had on the day you attended.

I do hope you will return to our service and if you would still wish to make an appointment you could also generate a Patient Health Record on our open clinic website.

If you wish to discuss anything further please do get in contact with me.

Kind regards

Leanne Fowler
