"Professional and friendly"

About: Badenoch & Strathspey Community Hospital Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as a relative),

I phoned NHS 24 in the early hours as my husband was in extreme pain due to a hip problem. As we were in a remote location in our camper in the Cairngorms we were asked to travel to Badenoch and Strathspey Community Hospital. The staff were extremely friendly, professional and attentive to the needs of my husband. The doctor was on hand immediately and came to the camper in the car park with pain killers as my husband could not move. The male staff member on reception was very helpful, trying to put my mind at ease.

When the paramedics arrived to transfer him to Raigmore Hospital they too were very professional and friendly.

My husband and myself are extremely grateful for the high level of care provided. Thank you :)

Dear Plant Lady,

Many thanks for taking the time to share your feedback here on CareOpinion. I am so sorry to read about what happened to your husband, this must have been terrifying particularly with you being away in the camper in a rural location. I do hope that they are feeling better and on the road to a full recovery. It is great to hear positive stories about the work our wonderful staff provide and so kind that you would take your own time to ensure that they are recognised.

I wish you all the very best and thanks again.

Kind Regards

Alan
