"Current admission"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Accident & emergency Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Surgical Assessment Unit

(as a service user),

I want to thank every member of the team over FVRH that I have met across my current admission!

Firstly Emma and Yvette in A&E triage - outstanding care, compassion and I really felt listened to! Both ladies went above and beyond through my time in A&E even after I left triage!

Then to the wonderful ANP (I’m sorry I cannot remember your name), again, outstanding care! Your kindness will stay with me forever. You listened to me and helped me, taking on board my feelings and my opinions, making me feel involved in my care!

Finally, to the team in SAU, nursing staff, clinical support staff and medical staff - this is the first time in a very very long time that I have left really truly cared for and listened to - that is down to your excellent team work and dedication to your roles.

It was really nice to be greeted with a welcoming and happy manner from staff who have taken their time to get to know me well enough to remember me months later! Overall, just amazing! Thank you all very much

Dear amz99

Thank you very much for taking the time to share such lovely feedback about your experience in ED.

I am sorry to hear you were unwell but sincerely hope you are recovering well.

Feedback such as this is most gratefully received, particularly when staff are working under challenging circumstances, I will be sure to share this with the staff involved and the wider team.

Thank you again and take care
