"Signage at Causeway Hospital"

About: Causeway Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a service user),

I had a great experience in terms of care at Causeway A & E and did not have too long a wait. The staff were friendly, supportive and helpful.

My one complaint today would be about the signage at the hospital which we felt was very unclear.

We went to the main hospital as we could not see a sign for A & E. This meant that my friend had parked, leaving me at the door as I could not walk and then had to move again which all added to the stress of a hospital visit.

Hello Hilfc88

My name is Victoria McCrory and I am the Assistant Clinical Services Manager for Causeway ED. I am sorry to hear that you have recently been unwell and had to access the services available at ED. I am happy to hear that you found staff friendly, supportive and helpful. Despite the pressures faced daily, staff continue to strive to provide a high standard of patient centred care. I will ensure you positive feedback is shared with all staff within the dept.

I am sorry to hear that you found the signage unclear, and this made your hospital visit more stressful. I will ensure that the feedback in regards to the signage is passed onto the relevant service managers.

I hope you are making a strong recovery, and once again thank you for leaving this feedback.

Yours Sincerely

Victoria McCrory
