"Attention and care has been truly magnificent"

About: Fife Community Services / Community Treatment and Care (CTAC)

(as the patient),

I developed a skin infection in lower left leg causing several ulcerations and bleeding.

I attended my GP where the Doctor referred me to the nurse for dressings to my leg (Maryanne and Mandy).

I have since been attending for 4 months twice per week by both nurses Maryanne and Mandy from NHS. The attention and care I have received has been truly magnificent from them, with me having poor blood circulation it made their job more difficult. However they both persevered and have done a great job .

My infection is now clear. Due to my bad blood circulation and swelling leg I now wear a wrap which the nurses are checking regularly.

Can't thank Maryanne and Mandy enough.

Good Afternoon stw44, my name is Gill McGovern, I am the Team Leader for CTAC in West Fife. I would like to thank you for providing such lovely feedback following your countless visits to Newpark Surgery for your leg dressing appointments.

I am delighted both Mandy and Maryanne persevered with your dressings and you are now infection free. Leg ulceration healing can be a long process and frustrating for patients, so I would like to wish you well and I will share your lovely comments with the Team.
