"So calm and kind throughout"

My little girl has been experiencing vacant episodes for over a year now, amongst many other issues with her health, and this has been a stressful time for our family.

We had our first paediatric appointment in Grantham and the paediatrician we saw was lovely, she referred our daughter for an EEG. We received a phone call for a cancellation appointment and accepted, later that day we headed to Lincoln neurophysiology unit. Our daughter has additional needs and we were worried about how this would go.

Arya the practitioner who was doing the EEG procedure was nothing short of amazing! We are so grateful for her care and attention, I discussed our concerns about how we would get our daughter to sit still and co-operate, Arya replicated what she was doing to our daughter with her baby doll, she put the bandage on her head and was so calm and kind throughout, taking her time to answer my daughters many questions, reassuring her and providing her a safe space. We are so incredibly grateful of the care we received by Arya! My daughter even named her baby doll after her! Thank you so much for your help and showing care and compassion to us all throughout our appointment!
