Thank you for taking time to leave you review. We have carried out a full review of your concern and would be more than happy to discuss this with you further if you would like to make an appointment to speak to our office manager.

It is worth noting that when a secondary care consultant changes or initiates new medication they should provide the patient with 7 days medication, this allows the consultant enough time to dictate the consultation, the secretary type the letter and send it to the GP practice and enough time for the GP practice to process the letter and send to the pharmacy team to action. It would appear this did not happen, you may wish to address the fact that you were left with no medication with your consultant. We have listened to the call with our receptionist and are confident that at no time was her tone raised and that she did try to escalate your problem for you by offering a number of solutions.

if you would like to discuss this matter further or listen to the calls please make an appointment to speak to our office manager.

once again thank you for taking time to leave your review.
