About: The Surgery (Cranwich Road)

(as a service user),

As a user of Cranwich Surgery, I don't have a story as such, but since registering with the surgery in 2019, I have visited for general check ups and given blood samples for blood tests, as well as for ailments.

I feel the staff on reception do not reflect the care of the GPs and nurses, there. There is usually a new face behind the desk each time I have attended, and their manner is of indifference; as if they are just doing a job; unlively, dull, cold - a manner of Next...

The medical staff, however, are the opposite (thankfully).

Thank you for your feedback.

I am sorry you feel our admin team is not helpful.

Looking at the national GP survey data for 2024. The national average for helpful admin team was 83%. The local ICS results were 76% and Cranwich Road Surgery admin team scored an amazing 78%.

Whilst we have our staff trained to be helpful and informative to patient I do understand there may be instance where a patient might not be happy with the information or the level of service received.

We have not recruited any new staff in the last one year. Our reception team also gets promoted to another role such as senior admin, HCA or phlebotomists as we encourage our staff to develop their knowledge and skillset.

We have trained up many staff in the past few years and take great pleasure in seeing them meet their full potential.
