"Treated with kindness and respect"

About: Adult Health & Support Services / Primary Care Out of Hours

(as the patient),

I had been suffering with earache and had called in to be seen. Upon arrival I was greeted kindly and was only waiting a short period before being taken in for my observations. The nurses were kind and chatty, both had seen me before due to past illness and had even noticed the lift in my health despite the pain in my ear. After taking a seat back in the waiting area for a short time, I was called in by the nurse practitioner and was treated with kindness and respect. She gave me the once over, made sure to check everything, and then gave me a spray to help with the inflammation in my ear. Over all a very positive experience and I am grateful to all the staff for their help and their well wishes.

Good morning BirdieBoo.

Thank you for taking the time to post about your positive experience when you had to attend for an appointment at Douglas Street, Hamilton OOH service. I will pass on your lovely comments to the team.

I hope you are recovering well and back to full health.

Take care, Pamela.
