"Trying to turn my back on alcohol"

About: Staffordshire Treatment and Recovery Service - STARS / West Team

(as a service user),

For over 10yrs I have let drink take over my life. It's destroyed relationships, friendships, taken me to very dark places. It also turned me into a nasty human being.

Now I feel it's time to take my life back. Get back to the old me. Maybe I can enjoy life a little more, once I abandon and finally leave the alcohol behind.
