"Lovely doctor"

About: Leeds General Infirmary

During my visit at a&e I had a lovely young male doctor initials l.s. He was very friendly and compassionate. He made me feel at ease the whole time. He’s a credit to the nhs. I did have a couple of nurses see me but I didn’t get there names. They were also lovely.

The only issue I had was the volunteer woman who was monitoring the queue for a&e reception. She was so rude and had a serious attitude towards myself and other patients just because we went to the wrong queue. She’s more suited as a nightclub bouncer who should have already retired.

Thank you so much for your valuable feedback.

I am delighted to learn that the doctor and nurses in our Accident and Emergency department provided you with friendly and compassionate care.

I have shared wonderful feedback with the matron of the service, and asked that this is shared with all the staff involved in your care.

I regret to hear about your dissatisfaction with the attitude of a volunteer in the department. Should you wish to address this concern more formally, I encourage you to reach out to the Patient Advice and Liaison Team (PALS), who can assist you further. Engaging with PALS would not only benefit our services but also enhance the experience for future patients, allowing us to investigate your concerns more comprehensively.

You can contact PALS at 0113 206 6261 or via email at patientexperience.leedsth@nhs.net.

kindest regards
