Went for my 1st mammogram after turning 50 & had a recall to discover I had breast cancer was a total shock, but the team and care were amazing and made me feel safe.

Thank you for taking the time to write this feedback. It is a mixed emotion being diagnosed through screening and many say that after the initial shock they are very glad they attended for that screening mammogram.

I am glad as the lead mammographer that you have had the experience you have from the team. Diagnosis nd treatment is so daunting it is important that you feel that support along the journey.

I wish you a swift recovery and I hope that sharing your experience encourages others to attend when they are called for their screening mammogram.
