"The most magnificent professionals"

I write this while awaiting discharge from Edinburgh Royal Infirmary Ward 231. I have been here 5 months. The early months I have little recollection of.

However as my health improved it became obvious to me that the people who were looking after me were plainly the most magnificent professionals, surgeons, nurses, physios, OT’s, Physios, care staff, cleaners, drivers. People who clearly took personal and professional pride in trying to accomplish the best outcome for me.  

I have no words to account for how well looked after and treated that I feel.

Thank you to everyone as there is not one of you undeserving of my gratitude. Best wishes for all of your futures both personally and professional.
