"My baby got the best start in life"

Cannot rate this team highly enough. As a first time mum I was completely overwhelmed starting my breastfeeding journey. This team came out to me the same day I called for support and supported our journey with follow up calls and visits.

Everyone we dealt with went over and above to help us, even dropping off shields and pumps after they'd finished their shifts. Bonnie was absolutely amazing, I was an emotional mess and wanted to give up but she took the time to reassure me and encourage me, even checking in by message over the weekend.

This service should be offered to every mum as standard. I had no idea they existed until a midwife pointed us in their direction. Happy to say I was able to breastfeed exclusively for 8 months and wean at my own pace. Without this team I would no have been able to have the breastfeeding journey I wanted. My baby got the best start in life and it was 100% down to the wonderful ladies in this team!!

The breastfeeding team is dedicated to providing timely and compassionate support, and it’s wonderful to know that Bonnie and the rest of the team went above and beyond to assist you, even dropping off essential items after their shifts.

Your willingness to share your emotional journey and the reassurance you received is incredibly valuable. I am thrilled to hear that you were able to exclusively breastfeed for 8 months and wean at your own pace.
