"Never again"

About: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital

I am a disabled pensioner. I arrived in good time for my appointment I was directed by the receptionist to the department which appeared to be on the very far side of the hospital, I walked with increasing pain only to find on arrival there was a car park right outside the department I could have used had either the appointment letter or receptionist mentioned it. Because of the distance I had walked and my condition I was 20 minutes late and the doctor refused to see me, he sent a letter to my GP stating I was 40 minutes late. So my "urgent" GP referral is now 8 months old with no new appointment date given. I could have understood I'd missed my appointment but actually lying to my GP has left me with zero confidence this is the hospital to address my condition.
