"Access to medication- felt let down "

I have ordered my repeat prescription and went to collect it today. After waiting 5 minutes for the reception staff to stop discussing personal matters. I was told that I could not collect my repeat prescription as the dispensary was closed.

The system they used to have in place was much better. As long as the surgery was open so was the dispensary. I did not know it had an earlier closing time on a Friday now.

I now have to suffer without my anxiety and depression medication till Monday. The side effects of not taking my medication stops my life as I am unable to drive due to bad vertigo.

I also have extreme heart burn and I’m suffering terribly currently. Not having this medication leads to waking up in the night choking on acid vomit.

To top it all off, the reception lady that spoke to me had a hard tone, very blunt and made me feel stupid for not knowing when they close for the dispensary. Not good when I’ve come to a place where you are meant to be looked after.
